Resound is a professional digital reverb that is amazing for guitar, bass, and even as an effect on live mixes or recordings. It is a result of my desire to make a reverb for my own musical projects, with the requirement that it be highly flexible and yet also be modular for pedalboard use. The wide range of reverb tones and the level of control makes Resound a highly valuable piece of gear that you won't want to miss.
The mode switch selects from three different reverb styles: Hall, Room, and Plate
The level knob ranges from 100% clean to 100% reverb
The depth knob controls the amount of low end that is affected by the reverb
The damping knob affects the tone of the reverb, from bright to dull
The time knob controls the amount of time your signal reverberates
The pre delay knob controls the time delay before your signal starts to reverberateThe volume knob ranges from off to +10dB
With this wide range of control, you can make anything from subtle reverb all the way to deep cavernous tones that completely swamp your signal. Using the depth knob to cut out some of the low end allows for instruments like bass guitar and drums to have added depth without making them sound blurry.
The pedal requires a 9V DC power supply (not included). The DC supply should be a standard Boss style connector, center negative polarity. The current draw is approximately 50 mA. Resound can accept higher voltages, up to 24V, but the reverb headroom is unchanged.
Resound has a true bypass switch.
