The Silver Deluxe is a JFET boost with a Fender tone stack EQ. The JFET topology adds some character to your signal, while the passive EQ delivers the familiar response found on many classic tube amps.
The EQ is an exact recreation of the Fender tone stack with Mids. It is also the same as the Alembic F2B.
The Silver Deluxe is designed to produce mild JFET overdrive when pushed. This is achievable with instrument level signals, and powering the pedal with a 9V supply. For a clean output, it is recommended to use a higher supply voltage.
The Silver Deluxe is a small batch pedal and will be limited in production.
The pedal requires a 9V DC power supply (not included). The DC supply should be a standard Boss style connector, center negative polarity. The current draw is approximately 10 mA. The power supply may be increased up to 24V DC with the result of more clean headroom and a slight increase in boost.
The Silver Deluxe has a true bypass switch.
