The Sunray is an original design tube overdrive that works great for bass or guitar. Utilizing a vintage 6AL5 tube, the Sunray produces a variety of authentic tube overdrive tones, from a thick boost, to a mid forward rock grind, to a full frequency heavy drive.
 
The tone knob transforms the character of the overdrive. At the minimum setting, the full frequency range is boosted, giving a bassy, heavy crunch tone. As the knob is turned up, the extreme lows and highs are gradually reduced, giving a more focused, clear sounding drive. The tone knob is more pronounced as the gain is turned up.
 
The Sunray behaves similarly to the front end of a tube amp. Low output instruments will produce light clipping, whereas hotter signals will push the tube harder into distortion. The Sunray is sensitive to playing styles, giving more grunt the more you dig in. Put a boost in front of it to have even more versatility in the range of saturation. The Sunray adds tube warmth and overdrive without taking away from your natural tone.

The Sunray is a small batch pedal and will be limited in production.

The pedal requires a 9V DC power supply. Do not use a higher voltage than 9V. The supply must be capable of providing at least 250 mA, and must be regulated. The supply must use a 2.1mm barrel with center negative polarity.

The Sunray has a true bypass switch.
